Just spent the best part of a Sunday morning trying to figure out how to recover HP backup files .fbw On all HP systems running windows vista there is an option to backup your system prior to doing a system restore. However once the system is restored the files created in the miniwinpc folder can not be easily resotred. HP are no help with this issue and after a lot of google searching I found this utility which can read and recover .fbw files. Hopefully someone with the same issue will google and find this page
