Previously I’ve talked about anti-virus 2009 which has hit a lot of computers in the in your city area. I get at least one a week with this virus that pretends to be anti-virus. It tells you there is a virus on your system the asks for credit card details to remove the virus!!!
Well there is now a newer version of the same virus called VirusResponse Lab 2009 as pictured below.

I thought I’d just post this to make you aware that this is not a genuine anti-virus package alerting you to the fact that you have a virus on your system. In fact it is the virus!
What is worrying about this virus is the fact that the customers that have it on thier system have proper anti-virus software installed to start with. However the security suite is not that good, both Macafee and Norton are a no no. I’m selling Kaspersky Anti-virus 3 user license at £25 a great deal and can be used on 3 machines. It will also protect you against VirusResponse Lab 2009.
