Google has recently released some very useful web based internet tools which can benefit everyone in a positive way. The free service is called “Google Alerts” www.google.co.uk/alerts . This service allows you to specify a daily email delivery of new articles or content published on the Internet.
A good example of how Google alerts could benefit to you would be if you were interested in used laptop for sale in in your city. Any relevant content that is published by a website/news agency or blogger would be captured as a Google alert and delivered to your email inbox.
How to use google alerts.
1) Specify the search term you think would be useful. For example the keywords “Laptop for sale in in your city”
2) Specify the type of search. (Alert on all sources of information or news/web/blog)
3) Specify how often to deliver an alert to your inbox.
4) Specify your email address. The Google alert will be delivered to this address.
The google alert is only limited by what keywords you enter and you can have more than one alert. The alert service can be used in all manner of ways the only thing that it’s limited to is the keywords you use.
